Connecting with Cornell: Cornell Recruitment Partnership
The Cornell Recruitment Partnership (CRP) is an outreach initiative established to promote career opportunities at Cornell University through strategic, diverse and communication-focused partnerships between Cornell University and community organizations that assist stellar talent in finding employment.
CRP members are required to:
- Participate in biannual CRP membership and feedback meeting
- Assist their customers who are interested in employment at Cornell with the development of an electronic resume and completing an on-line profile through Jobs at Cornell
- Provide the Recruitment and Employment Center (REC) with an annual report on their organization's activities.
REC is proactive in its on-going search for local, regional, and national organizations to join the CRP, and extends an open invitation to these organizations to join the Cornell Recruitment Partnership at any time.
CRP and Cornell Recruiters and Hiring Managers
Cornell recruiters and hiring managers are encouraged to use the Cornell Recruitment Partnership on-line directory in connecting with partnering organizations for diverse talent. Recruiters and hiring managers may make direct contact with listed representatives of partnering organizations to establish informational dialogues, to forward select job announcements and to participate in recruitment and outreach activities sponsored by the organizations.
The CRP also operates the Cornell Recruitment Partnership e-mail list to facilitate communication between Cornell University's Recruitment and Employment Center and the members of the Cornell Recruitment Partnership.
How to Use the CRP E-mail List
Recruiters and hiring manager may use the CRP e-mail list to:
- Inform partners of targeted career opportunities in their units or departments
- Request on-site partnership meetings to establish pipeline initiatives
- Communicate interest in sponsorship of CRP members' activities and participation in partnership events
